Hello VIP POOLS. Did your P945 stop spinning on one side. Is that the reason you changed out all the gears and plastic. I have my left side not spinning causing it to go in a circle. Will this fix mine?

@@shaunbarnes4420 yes, this one was going in circle. You can see the gears without removing them to see if they are worn down.

Hello again VIP Pools. Do you know if the Polaris 9450 parts will work on the p945. Looks like the same machine. Took mine apart and my gears are definitely worn down.

When trying to remove the front wheels, how do you know where to rotate the wheel so that the axel tab is in the 12 o'clock position and reachable to push down with a screw driver. We have tried everything and cannot get the wheels to come off.

Might have to drill it out. Then you have to get new part

@@susandeacon7530 Hello Susan, I was just able to remove the wheel on mine. It's tricky but with patience, and a but of force on the tab with a blunt screwdriver ( i used a robertson #2 ) it eventually worked. The tab is on a sleeve which does not rotate... I had the same thoughts as to how to position the wheel at 12 o'clock...!

Check the connection. If it's all good, it will be a motor problem on one side. Could also be something stuck on a wheel

Mine didn’t last a year! I just got an error message that it couldn’t finish its cycle. My roller and wheel doesn’t spin on the right side. Everything is super wobbly. It’s a shame that you spend $2000 for one of these units and it craps the bed after such a short time I don’t understand. I’m gonna try your procedure, so thanks for the post.
