so my latch gets kind of loose , is there any way to fix it ? My scooter has folded on me while riding , id like to know if you got any tips for this

That is a dangerous condition, I would definitely recommend trying to get this fully resolved prior to riding again. In most cases there is a "set screw" on the latch that - when adjusted - will determine how tightly the latch secures the stem. For Zendrian scooters it's on the chrome metal latch piece and is adjusted with an allen wrench. To properly set it, lock the stem in the riding position, and tighten the set screw until it feels 'finger tight'. Then check that you can still use your hand to unlock/lock the stem. If it's too loose, tighten the set screw further, but if it's too tight then back off a little. You can use some BLUE colored "Loc-Tite" on the screw to prevent it from working it's way out over time.
