I know welding cast iron is a whole other thing but it can be done right? Whatever that part was for I reckon the steel jobbie is the answer though. Although like most things it always begs the question "why did it fail in the first place?".

I left my brand new Dewalt Power washer in the machine shed this winter and tried to fire it up the other day and the brass manifold is cracked, I've brazed some things together before but was wondering if you think I'm wasting my time and should just bite the bullet and spend the 150 to 200 bucks on a new manifold?
