After the product dried, you were supposed to go over it with a cloth or pad soaked in alcohol. It will remove the product from the good areas and blend the repaired areas better.

It is a good product. Today, I used it on my leather sofa and a chair in my kitchen. It is is the process of drying. Like you, I will wait until tomorrow to clean it with rubbing alcohol. It might give the sofa and chair a skim coat just to make it look better. The main reason why I want this product is for my car seats. They are cracking. I want to fix them before they get to the point where they are completely damaged.

The issue is that couch is not real leather or vinyl. It has a leather like laminate that separates from the fabric backing and is not repairable. Unfortunately most leather like furniture or furniture that states its leather is made like this. When this repair fails try buying a leather or vinyl piece the size of the top of the cushion and spray glue it on.
