Repairing some barn-find vintage Macs - Part 1 [LIVE]

After responding to a Facebook Marketplace ad, I found myself driving out to some semi-rural parts of western Sydney to check out some Macs in a barn. Many looked beyond repair, but a few had restoration potential.

I ended up selling the black mac, someone wanted to restore it. I also appreciate that you checked the hdd's for data, it was either the LCII or LCIII that I suspected had information on it.

@1:54:00 I'm surprised that nobody in the chat told you that the LC 475 needs a battery to display video -- or that you quickly flick the power switch from on to off and then on again to keep that charge inside the caps for the computer to display an image.

Nice recap try... just to let you know, when you play that "Smash that Like Button' clip, the Like Button highlights in a flashy colour animation. It must sense the words 'Like Button' and triggers the animation...
