All that just for an out hole switch. "Come on people" Love some of those early Stern games. Was lucky to play a Nugent in St. Kilda, Victoria, Australia. Must have been about 12 years ago. Couldn't stop playing it, those Stern's with those 'sweepable' drop targets, so satisfying. Great machine.

My friend's dad in middle school had two pinball machines; this is the one I always think of when I think of pinball at all. That would have been around 1992. It was a privilege when we got to play it and we treated it well. I definitely remember him having to reach in behind the coin door to add credits. Now I know why! Pretty sure the other machine was in free play. It was newer and noisier but i can't even remember the game. Funny how that happens.

Yeah it's weird how certain games and things will reach out and grab you and other ones just fade away! This one had that killer backglass and the guitar on the playfield, that's probably what you liked :)

lol. Expensive hobby if you are unable to troubleshoot something as simple as that! Those SB100 sound boards are the worst, but you can get them sounding better by adjusting the 3 tone pots. That one was set way too high. Amazing to see another Nuge with excellent reds in the backglass!

Got one I swapped out the playfield on looking for a mirrored backglass,bought one of those repoped ones that ain't mirrored on e bay for now ,I think they made less of these than the bally Kiss

Yes they definitely made less. I just looked it up... they made 2400 Nugents, and made 17,000 KISS machines.
