It’s a rainy day in the North woods, so I decide to accomplish some small but much needed chores before the rain arrives. Later on I ventured through the woods collecting edible mushrooms.

Hey Karl. Nice repair on the old plow truck. That's a quick and easy fix that is better to do in the nice weather that in the middle of winter. Can't beat those fall colors, Karl. I'm in the central U.P. and right now the north wind is howling with high temps in the 40s! Most of the leaves are down now but I did get a chance to land some bluegill before the arctic blast. Pretty smart getting that plow ready because it feels like winter is coming early this year! Great video btw!!

I feel for you, it looks like it’s going to be cold all week. I was hoping fall would last a little longer than what it has. While I was duckhunting Saturday I noticed a lot of birds heading south already. I think winter is not too far away🥲.Have a great week and try to stay warm

Very good video. The colors are amazing! I like mushrooms but i don’t know nothing about them in the woods. Don’t know what’s edible and what’s not. So i just stay away from them. You should do a video of how you find out about them to your viewers. I’m sure there a lot of them like me that have no clue. I like the Chevy. Old reliable! I had a 94 model and the thing was a tank. Miss that truck. Had it 17 years. My dad bought his new in 2003 and is still driving his today. Thanks for the update!

Mushrooms have always been a little worrisome to me, but lately we have been studying them in our pastime. Heaven knows those darn things can kill you if you don’t know what you’re doing. As far as the trucks go, I agree. Those old trucks are some of the best ever made. Have an awesome week brother !!

Beautiful up there,and rain was needed. I was up myself, but still not much color down in Monroe County. I would love to know how to pick shrooms, but don't think I'd ever trust myself. Gotta lots of downed trees ,I want to buy and try the plugs then I know there good. Christopher McCandless found out the hard way😂

I’m not sure if your Camp will pick up “telephone time 99.1 fm Wikb“ but their morning show from 9 AM to noon announces different community happenings in our area. Usually once a year somebody will put on a mushroom seminar. If you can’t pick up the channel, I know they stream on the Internet as well. They serve the community from Wabeno Crandon area all the way up to the U.P.

From 12:15 - 12:20 your camera captured a heavenly cross shinning down on you. It is slightly above half screen in the tree branches. As if sitting on a crossing branch. It pans across the screen from right to left as you move the camera. Angels are keeping an eye on you guys. ❤

You dont use thread tapes on hydraulic fittings. The stuff can come off inside the system and clog up orphase and valves. Pipe dope is the correct thing.
