WOW!! so pretty. i recently pulled the trigger on a few vintage horns 🎉 a buffet SDA tenor and a 1925 Conn which i think might be gold plated!! the store couldn’t tell me anything about it but after some research the wear patterns indicate it was gold burnished. if you happen to see this comment i would so greatly appreciate it if i could get your opinion :)))) thanks again for sharing ur knowledge and exp

So awesome that some of these instruments are so well preserved. I have some very poorly treated specimens I’m working on, I’d love to know what happened to their cases as they are long gone!

I have solid silver necks for my 2 tenors and 1 alto. I prefer the clarity of the sound. Wish I could get one of these gems.
