Good work! it looks and runs like new. I have a MS170 too, it has a great rate price/quality. Although it is practically entire made of plastic it is enough tough. It doesn't have much power but it has a thin chain that allows cut decently

Its an affordable saw and he probably spend quite a bit of time and money restoring it but hats off to him for turning something old to new and working instead of throwing it out and buying a new one!!

Chainsaw cylinders are chrome or nikasil plated. When you honed it, you ruined an already ruined cylinder. I bet it didn't run 30 minutes. Good effort, though.

Because you did not match the small gap in the part at 16:00 to the oil gear at 15:38, the chainsaw worked without oil at 21:38.

Шлифанул цилиндр на бензопиле что естественно делать нельзя, так как не будет эта поршневая долго жить, еще и поршень китайский засунул👍😂 Но оно и понятно, автор же понимает что эта поршневая и бачек не выпилит)))

После такой реставрации надо заново разбирать пилу и делать все по уму

правильно, сразу погнем ребра на маховике, потом явно задраный цилиндр не выбросим, а просто помоем, задиры же пройдут после этого, тем более на 2-миксовом моторе. сальники с подшипниками менять тоже нах не надо. поршень надо купить самый ублюдский за 5 баксов, и не в коем случае на стопорных кольцах не отрезать усики, чтобы они потом отвалились сами и окончательно добили ЦПГ. собрать не сдирая полностью старый гермет, ну и для полноты картины поставим китайский карб который настроить просто нереально. если эти помои получится завести, то в лучшем случае они будут выдавать 30 процентов мощности, и проработаю часа 2
