Thank you for this thought-provoking homily! I have much to ponder on from this homily. I seldom hear homilies of this caliber delivered and I am a lifelong Catholic. God Bless you, Father! You are remembered in my daily rosaries.

Sharon Holmes : Is there no traditional Mass in Latin near you?
@sharonholmes60836 жыл бұрын
Yes. However, the church is about a half hour's drive, which does not bother me, but my husband has clearly stated he would rather attend Mass that is about a five-minute drive from our home. The church that offers the Latin Mass has one Latin Mass on Saturday and one Latin Mass on Sunday. He is not keen on the traditional Mass. He has told me that he prefers the English speaking Mass over the Latin Mass. He is a cradle Catholic. I would rather attend Mass with my husband because I feel that is my duty as a wife. However, I do wear a veil, and pretty much live as a Traditional Catholic whereas my husband is a post Vat. II Catholic. We are both over the age of 55 and grew up in Traditional Catholic homes and are married for nearly 30 years. Perhaps this situation that I am in, is a cross that I must bear.

Most priests do not have as much higher education as Fr Ripperger. Not only is he highly educated, he is brilliant and not full of himself. He is humble and such an excellent teacher.

I’m sure I’ll be in Purgatory for a very long time. I wish I could pray for my friend who committed adultery but now he’s dead. I want to pray for my other friends who have committed sins with me. I don’t know where they are anymore I
@amyschlegel11803 ай бұрын
Absolutely you can pray for these friends! There is no time with God. Pray that your friend who died received the grace of final contrition and repentance at the time of his death, and pray that if he is in Purgatory that your prayers and sacrifices will shorten his time there. Pray for the conversion of your other friends. They cannot escape the power of your sincere prayers for them, regardless of where they are. And do not resign yourself to having to go to Purgatory - aim for Heaven, Not Purgatory - pray for the grace to make reparation for your sins in this life so that you will not have to go there when you die. Go to Mass and confession frequently, pray the Rosary every day, go to adoration, offer up all the problems and sorrows that you have to endure for the salvation of souls and the relief of the suffering souls in Purgatory!

Hello, quick question to the channel that uploads these. That "Penance Ware" thing at the end of the video, is that binding to those who also watch the video or just to those that downloaded the file from the original source? I've watched a good handful of videos from this channel and never noticed that before. The reason I ask is because I'm sadly very Scrupulous and I don't want to feel obligated to try and figure out how many videos I've seen in the last several moths by going through my KZbin History then do that many decade unless absolutely needed. Please, if you do answer could you be strait forward with me?

Why does Father mention "past lives"? What does he mean by that? I heard him say that on other podcasts. I'm confused. We only live one life.
