Programmed mine for both Analog and digital (DMR) using your documentation and had no problems whatsoever, its a backyard repeater for now while we find a place up in the mountains to install it, but it has been working non stop for about a month now@35W output 445.760(-5MHz PL162.2Hz) I added the MMDVM board from Scott Zimmerman and a Rpi 4 (8GbRAM), did the LED RX cal on the modem, the MMDVM-cal for deviation and the P1 test pin 1.5V inside the BCR-40U and works like a beauty, very happy with it. I had to tell of course to my analog users to program a RX tone on their radios otherwise they will be hearing the digital voice ¨machine gun sound¨ and can be annoying for them when someone is doing DMR through the repeater. So far so good! 73 de N2IX / XE2BSS Alex

Can yall do a video on " how to program a BCR for vhf for Digital operations...thx

My repeater works fine until I add the sysop line and a user line at 103.5 on user and lower in sysop, as soon as I add user lines it stops ID'ing. Repeater still works on even the tones. Whether I tell it to if no traffic or not it will not id. But as a "dumb" box with no user lines and no tones or anything needed it will ID just fine. This is killing me. I had this as a spare and just got it out yesterday as primary died and about to give up guys.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say: "I add the sysop line and a user line at 103.5 on user and lower sysop," can you reword this?

@@BridgeComSystemsInc Just called again and left another voicemail. It told me I have to have a ticket as I do because VM’s will not be returned. The only way to get in touch with you is thru a ticket it stated. It seems this is the only way for me. The repeater will not send the id out with a tx tone turned on to a radio with tsq on.. If I have a radio set to Tone only to bring up the machine I can hear the ID. But If (4 of us here) put our radios to TSQ because I have the repeater sending out a 103.5 tone on tx you cannot hear the ID. You have to go back to TN only to hear it. I actually programmed two channels in my HT back to back. One with TN only and one with TSQ. When I heard the repeater ID I started switching back between the two and the ID would disappear on the TSQ channel I set. But could be heard on the TN channel because it;s not listening for the tax tone of 103.5. Hope this makes sense but can’t get anyone on the phone. Sorry.

@@BridgeComSystemsInc I have gotten a reply from one of your gentleman that the repeater is not capable without a external controller. If you transmit a tone and have your receiving radio to listen to that tone so you don’t hear anything but your machine, you won’t hear it ID. You have to remove the tone in your radio. Thanks for the answer. Other than this missing feature as I call it, the repeater is a very robust machine everyone and works well! I have a couple RC-210 controllers but I don’t think I’ll put one on this box. It sounds great now.

That's correct. The repeater is a community repeater. This means it can TX different PL tones based on recevied PL tones. When doing the design, we asked... "Well, if we want to send PL with the station ID, which PL tone do we use?". So, we decided no PL with the station ID as this satisfies the FCC.
