Replace a Sticky SeaDoo Boarding Step (2010-2017)

Did your machine not come with a step? I can measure out where mine is if you'd like

I want to fix mine because mine is sounds terrible and gets stuck halfway. Do the screw go inside the ski at all or the screw do not lead to the inside?
