I love to do minor repairs in my SGV 2006 myself. There aren't much videos about this out there so this is why I am sharing this DIY with you guys. Please let me know if there were an easier way to do this. thanks

Thank you for this. The other videos I linked to were titled "Grand Vitara" but then they were working on a different car.

Great video thank you, I noticed that you touched the bulbs without gloves. I see most mechanics use gloves to touch electric bulbs because moisture or grease from skin may shorten the life of the bulb. Please also check your brakes it sounded that they need to be inspected. If you decided to change the pads and rotors yourself, please make a clip of that too. cheers

The practise of wearing gloves when changing bulbs only came into being with the advent of halogen bulbs, which burn a lot hotter than the normal incandescent type. Incandescent bulbs usually do not get hot enough for oils from your skin to cause any damage and because of this gloves are not necessary.

It's called a nut driver bit.

A NUT DRIVER ????? I think you'll find it's called a socket, used world wide,but maybe you haven't ventured very far
@johnnyLwhatTheHellАй бұрын
@@toonarmy1946 lol. Correction, my friend.... it's only a socket if it goes on a ratchet wrench. If it's a drill bit that can be used in a drill or a nut driver/11 and 1, then it's not called a socket. Sounds like I may have traveled a little bit farther than you.
