Replace PCV valve on a RL5 4th generation Honda Odyssey (2011 - 2017)

Great video! You hit all of the important items. One additional reason to change the PCV valve, when they fail, pressure builds inside of the crankcase which can cause oil leaks past the engine seals.

Thanks a ton. Always helps to see it done. I tried to be careful..but I still dropped the metal washer thingy. Right into the engine abyss never to be seen again. I fashioned up some rubber gasket to take it's place. Dunno how long that will last, but I feel silly having to order that one little tiny part if I have too. 2016 Odyssey SE with 108k miles, first time replacing it.

What if the pcv valve doesnt rattle when you shake it? Do they have to make a rattling noise for it to work?
