Glad I could help! I was super frustrated - it took a bit to find the right battery, but the new one is working perfectly, and I haven't run out the first charge yet.

I couldn't source a battery locally so I ended up buying the replacement from SharkRF. Made it very expensive as it came via DHL. Once the replacement battery dies I'll just be powering it by the usbC

That's a bummer. I keep a couple spare USB-C chargers with me at all times. When I tried to get one from Shark, I was told by them they couldn't ship the battery to the US. That's what launched my battery hunt. Apparently, no problem shipping to VK from Shark. It works fine running off of a USB-C power plug just fine - either way is aces.

I would think the battery pack would last a very long time with a charge. The Battery pack actual output goes through a dc to dc converter from 3.7 to 5v so the outpu at the usb'st of the battery pack is 5v but you could go direct inside of the battery pack and hook directly to the batteries . I think I would remove the dc to dc conveter in the battery pack and to tell you the truth, I like the idea of a battery pack more than that little battery. The little battery I have like that failed . That said, and this is important, ALL LITHIUM POWERED SYSTEMS NEED A LOW VOLTAGE DISCONNECT. They are tiny little circuits I've gotten before on little boards.
