Absolutely love this printer, I read lots of reports in pdf format but still like the old-school method of having a 'book' in my hand - - I think I have gone through at least 6 reams of paper and experience no problems, the cost per page is excellent. Just now getting a warning for the imaging drum, but even with it's cost (3x the cost of my last printer's toner) this is a bargain. If I had to complain, I'd ask to add a large capacity paper drawer (4 reams at least), but that is just a minor inconvenience.

@@zheniamu buy this printer, you will fall in love with it. The imaging unit lasts over 10k, the toner lasts forever. I print out my pdf science manuals of 300 to 500 pages. It is a great value.

I have the mfp 1200w. I've reloaded toner kits multiple times before without problems by following the procedure. But recently, my toner level light was depleted by one, but "+1" light was strangely not ON. I inserted the toner but the reload light was blinking amber, not white (usually white when reloading toner). And then I couldn't turn the toner kit to reload it. Nevermind 180 degrees, I couldn't turn it at all. I tried with another kit but the same thing happened. So now I'm down to the last toner level bar (the small one on the bottom and it turned amber), but "+2" light and the warning sign is not ON either. And now the drum light is ON (not blinking) with amber colour while the attention light is still OFF, so it just means that it is out of toner right? But I cannot reload the toner kit since the reload light is amber and not white. I've tried to power reset and factory reset it but nothing has changed. I've contacted the HP support of my country via WhatsApp, they were really trying to help by giving a lot of suggestions but it didn't fix my problem. They recommended that they'll pick up my printer for service but it will take approximately 1-2 weeks to fix. I couldn't afford that much time since I'm in the middle of deadlines. Is there any other way to fix it without having to take my printer to the service center? I would love to hear an alternative to solve my problem. Your response would be much appreciated. Thank you.

+Gangadhar Reddy You should replace it when your image quality declines and does not improve even after changing your toner. Or simply replace your drum when your printer notifies you to do so. When the replace drum light or message comes on, your printer might stop working without much notice.

+Satyeswar Sharma The printer is in an error state. Reset the printer to resolve the issue. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer. Unplug the power cord from the power source. Wait 60 seconds. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer. NOTE: HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
