14:43 The parallel LPF is a low pass filter that affects only the parallel channel. It would have affected the sound if the preamp blend knob had been set all the way to the left or blended between the parallel and preamp sounds and the 1/4" output was going to an amp. Also the benefit of having two effects loops is that you can run a compressor on your parallel channel and have a clean compressed signal that then blends with whatever effects you throw at your preamp fx loop (drive, fuzz, etc). You also have the ability to put the parallel LPF on so that you're only blending in a clean low end signal with everything above 500hz or 100hz rolled off so that it blends with drives and distortions better.

This pedal also has an incredible gain section that truly is a great recreation of vintage ampeg tones. I'm surprised Nathan didn't increase the gain to get some dirt going. The beauty is that you can go for high gain modern rock sounds or create really fat old school motown tube vibes by tweaking the gain, sculpting the eq, and adjusting the cab sim sections. It's a truly versatile pedal.

There are already demos of the simplifier producing chunky and aggressive tones. This demo has convinced me of its warmer capabilities.

Nice to know you can get some dirt on there. I was looking at the Darkglass Vintage Ultra because I wanted the option of both dirty and clean. But this is significantly cheaper and has more other features built in.

I've heard him say in other demos something like, "We can take the gain down to get something clean and actually useable"... so I'm guessing he's not a big 'dirt-on-bass' guy. Shame, because, as many of us know, in a mix, it can be glorious!

Why don't they say at the beginning of their videos, "We think it is our duty to tell you up front, we are primarily interested in getting you to buy these items from Andertons, and otherwise we would not be using the time, money, and energy to make these videos."? Ha! What you guys are saying is that since Andertons is a business that sells things, it is Lee Anderton's duty to deceive people by gushing over the various products he promotes, when in actual fact, he primarily wants to sell them. If in each video he admitted the truth, he wouldn't seem like such a good guy, right? Ha! You have been brainwashed since birth by society, to think it is good for salespeople to use any and every tactic, to propagandize potential customers. No matter what, fundamentally, these videos are intended to deceive. This is all obvious. Ha! Tell me when Lee has a video about something that Andertons doesn't sell. Ha! (Of course, as in this video, it is not only Lee who does the promoting, his employees and collaborators do it too.)
