Wow! Thank you so much. All the other tutorials were either using corner pin or the delta keyer. None of which helped with my footage as there was a camera cutout at top and black coloured plus signs on the green screen. But your method helped me achieve what I was aiming for, so thank you so much once again!

i do everyting correct till 5:44 where i connect deltakeyer to merge 1 and then nothing happens. mediaout1 is still showing only foreground (media2) what wrong could i do? i went throuh your vid 5 times

Thanks so much! Very clear vid. Been driving me crazy how to use (and then remove) tracking points on green screens. Question: how do you track a green screen if it starts out of shot and pans in? Obviously the planar tracker only works reliably when it can see enough of the tracking points. Is there a way to manually keyframe the tracker rectangle for the very first and very last few frames?

Thanks Dave. May I suggest a correction? You're using "Point" as your "tracker" option in Planar Tracker. However the manual recommends, for things like TV screens, you use option "Hybrid Point/Area". Apparently "Hybrid" captures movement in all axes of a 2-D plane like a phone screen. "Point" only watches how one point is moving within the frame.

Very clear, thanks. I have a question: I have composited an image behind my talking head in Resolve using the DeltaTracker in Fusion but when I use the color tab in Resolve it adjusts the image I just added :( Is it possible to stop it color correcting the image I added? It's like i want to do the color correction first then composite rather than the other way round. Thanks

I don't recall. I believe it was on a free site like Pexels. These days, I'd just use ArtGrid, but when I made this, I believe I got that from one of those free sites.

You could use a planar tracker, and add a plane as long as there is something to track on the phone screen.

you have to manually keyframe the planar tracker at that point. track as much as you can and then just manually drag them
