Maybe the reason he had trouble with the top bolt was because he didn't "tighten it before loosening" like he does with all bolts. :) Also, the reason I've had to replace the lug nuts on both mine and my son's Rams are because shops use 7/8ths sockets on the lug nuts instead of the correct 22mm.

😮 that 7/8 might have been the death of my "swolen lugs" at discount tire. ❤❤

I understand the set you are installing excludes 2007 slt crew cab, but will the process be the same on the crew cab slt?

When do you have to change the coil spring

It is recommended you replace the complete strut assembly, including the strut mount & coil springs. This is more cost efficient, safer & a lot quicker & easier using Speedy Strut Complete Strut Assemblies, Part Number 9214-0129. We didn't have these developed at the time this video was made, but they are now available.

@@BD-tn5um Unfortunately, the shock & the coil spring for your vehicle are not one unit & have to be replaced separately.
