Replacing a failing or clogged culvert on this property. The plastic culvert in the driveway is full of mud and dirt along with the ends being smashed. So I dig it up and replace it with a new double walled 18" plastic culvert. I had a little trouble at first with the neighbor, he really didn't want me digging on his property but after him seeing and me explaining I was able to clean his ditch out and get it to drain. The ditch had been silted in over the years so it really needed dug out. Then I dumped a load of base rock on the entrance and around the pipe, got it tracked in and leveled off. Should do much better the next time it rains. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #culvertinstall

Brandon... when I was 6 or 7... my sister went to the doctors office. She came home with a bendy straw. Every time she took a drink, she would use it. The only straws I had seen were made from paper. Now, when I see one of those corrugated plastic pipes it brings back memories of just how jealous I was of her fancy-smancy drinking straw! Good thing the neighbor didn’t stop you from daylighting that pipe... otherwise, you’d have just built a perfect silt trap! BTW... 2.75” of rain so far🙂

Best to Get right - To It ! Did you ever here the fact that the more a person ( SPEAKS ) the less the crowd around ( Hears and Also Understands ) ??? If not - then this info is for you .... Like so many Clips by Contributors to fore mats like this and others - The Tendency to Ramble or Over State the Obvious is rampant. EXAMPLE : Instead of Laying out every last ( Intent ) simply - Introduce - what your goal is. The title of the clip pretty much did that so ( WHY ) then are you wasting time here ? Anyone who watches this content is NOT doing so to hear you speak. The interest runs parallel to Construction based operations and the machinery used in doing so . O V E R - Talking or Narrating the wind , the rain , the sun , and the moon up above, puts most to sleep while others simply drift off into La La Land . Ideas to make it all flow: Use the Concept of ( 1 - 2 - 3 - A - B - C ) Otherwise know as : WHO - What - When - Where - Why - How.... Did you catch that ??? You Needed to replace the culvert ( WHO ) asked for it ? What happened to it ? When did you figure it to get done ? Where does it go from here ? Why Are you doing it instead of the customer ? And lastly - How are you getting paid, Compensated , Re-Imbersed , etc. Some jobs are Referrals, Others are Searched out by Size and Price , while still more can be randomly selected due to location and Availability to the Desired time frame. Any year has Two Seasons - those are Winter and Construction . Anyone who is new or simply stumbled upon this clip would be taken by the title first and the Content second. Wasting the 10 minutes or so in length many use as a base line means only about 5 to 7 minutes of actual Footage or working time is being posted. If your un-sure or Not up to speed with how all this lays out - PERHAPS you need to review or watch about 1000 plus or more of others in all Areas of content posted thru the internet . This is Not a Fashion show or reviewing food or what you did on your summer vacation . With Covid-19 going on ( MANY ) are literally - Forced to double down on viewing items they might otherwise simply pass by . Its the middle of the summer which means construction has already hits its peak and many are winding down to focus on back to school , back to work , and back to the routine, which is the life humans lead. You want advice - Good. You want to make better clips to post - Better . You want to increase the compensation given by the Format - Well All Right then . Use these ideas to Work thru and Improve what it is you do . That goes for life as a whole . The saying is : Fail to plan - Means you Plan is to Fail Not Guess work - R E A L I T Y Check - and living up to what you do when the camera is NOT rolling and others are rolling thru clips to view who may or MAY not stop to view you - too....
