I have a similar wall mounted Howard Miller clock and 3 of the chimes rods came out during transport. I could not find a way to put them back in and don't want to force the issue. Could you show me how to do this without damaging the clock?

I have a Howard Miller 612-436 Mantel Clock (was my dad's) it didn't have the movement in it. I found the movement in another box days later. I watched this and think I could use advise on what to do to get it to work. The center wind piece won't move. Need help.

I have a exact same clock and mine has a kieninger movement

Before Howard Miller purchased Kieninger, the would put in whom ever would give them the best price. Now the own part of Kieninger, so that's the only movement they put in their clocks now.

What was the issue/issues with the old movement?
@ClockRepairService5 жыл бұрын
Nothing with this one, I just used it for a demonstration, however, most movements like this will typically last about 20-25 years before they have to be replaced. Some people try to repair them but replacing in the long run is cheaper and you are getting everything new. When one gets rebuilt, they only repair the worn out parts, then later on, the other parts that didn't get replaced get worn and you have to repair toughs parts. Its a never ending cycle. If you replace, your done with it for many years as long as you oil them.

@@ClockRepairService ok, cause you said it was destroyed and you couldn’t do anything about it. That’s why I asked.
