Thanks for the video - it was very helpful. Important safety reminder. All bolts must be correctly torqued and the hub nut MUST be staked. One tip to consider is loosening the hub nut through the centre badge before jacking up the car - will make it much easier than trying when jacked up (even with foot on brake to stop hub rotating.)

Thanks Graham. Good point about the torque. I usually torque them to about a hhhmmppf as hhhhhhmmmmmmpppppfffff is usually too tight 😂😂😂😂

I was just about to make the same comment, best be done even if jacked up but with the brake caliper still on so as to help loosen the centre bolt. Otherwise it’s a nightmare to loosen if you don’t have anything to brace the disc with. But very good video, actually an easy job if you have all the right tools and take your time. Thanks for sharing.

Did this issue cause your steering wheel to shake when gently braking??

No? I don't recall it doing that. That sounds more like a warped disk.

@10:30 - always makes me cringe to see a new bearing getting hammered like that :( Brinelling isn't ideal on a new bearing....just not worth risking it.

Yeah perhaps I should have used a block of wood in hindsight. I was replacing bearings in a large 18KG industrial washing machine a couple weeks ago (done a video on that). Froze the bearings first, then used a block of wood to fit them as the drum was way to big to fit on my bearing press.

Great video again perhaps for future if you show main parts to remove and explain as your going that would be even better 👍

Grateful for the video, but I must agree. As a novice, it would have been useful if you had talked your way through, as there were times when I was really puzzled as to what you were actually doing, e.g. between 15:00 and 16:00 🤔Cheers Tho'!@@BuyitFixit
