Early "guess..." +/-15V should be closer to 15... I think the galvo's are faulting out due to insuficient voltage. System shuts down. Of course, I'm rarely right....:)

Evening Mick!! . . .Please keep your excellent videos coming, they're a gosdsend for me and my friend Steve who have to repair Industrial Electronics without diagrams, schematic (circuit!) diagrams, or any form of OEM support whatsoever - the links you provide help me select good quality equipment to help me with my own and my friend's repairs - I was looking for something to magnify all the horrible tiny little surface-mount and with the aid of your Videos I've just treated myself to a "Tovlov" 4K A.F. Digital Microscope for Christmas!! Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year from Chris Williams, Walsall!!

Ubiquiti made some nice SoHo-Routers like the Edgerouter Lite / ER-3 but many suffer from broken USB-sticks (inside, cheap mans flash storage) and sadly broken ethernet ports. Replacing the USB stick is super easy and fixes the device, debugging the broken eth0 port is not. It's also the only one that comes up after a factory reset.

Thank you for the video. I have an inverter 12v that keeps popping my 2 external fuses when connecting to my 12v battery. This all started happening when I plugged something in on my inverter AC inlet of the inverter. Can you please lead me to a solution. Thank you. I feel like a high voltage surge went into the inverter through the AC side of inverter. Thanks again

In my country, the standard voltage is 230±10%. But I just checked Wikipedia, and it says that in the UK, the standard voltage is 240 V ±6% (225.6-254.4 V). Here’s the link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrical_wiring_in_the_United_Kingdom

Back in the 90's as an electronics engineer,repairing laptops + a host of electronic equipment,we had to regulary recover passwords from custmer machines,Toshiba was the easiest,IBM got clever,and today as a life long ,now retired engineer ,i get the occasional job to decipher modern passworded equipment,the algorithms of today ,are way more sophisticated,with reversal,adding,subtracting,shifting,code protected areas,you name it,more often, the password is embedded within the controller ,with chip id's being erased,making the job ni impossible,without some really expensive gear.You did a good job here,the only thing i would of done is 4 wires to a socket for the eeprom,just to make sure the removal/put back,didnt damage the tracks.

The easiest way to remove the front, once you get a spudger underneath, dribble some IPA into the gap, it softens the adhesive

It surely does spark some memories, but the other way around: I usually minded my own business, and my dad used to blast in asking me to help push the car from the damn snow or whatever. Red hands included, of course, because winter in Urals never forgive.

Hey! Thanks, man! Without this guide, my Ninja Foodi was heading to landfill. I followed this tutorial, and luckily, mine had the exact same fault. It must be a common problem. The cable that powers the fan is so weak that it completely snapped as I tried to pull it through. I managed to feed a replacement cable through from the bottom. Please be careful when you take the top apart. That part is tricky. Thanks again... invaluable. And saved me £230!!!

@BuyitFixit6 күн бұрын
Thanks 👍The engineer menu probably won't help as it only had limited options. You might be able to do it with a rs485 interface and the Aurora CVI program, but it might also be locked on later firmware.
