Hi. Wondered if you can help. I have inherited 2 of these hearing aids but for some reason they are both for the left ear. Is it possible to just swap the speaker wire for a right ear in one of them? Basically, are the main devices the same and it's just the speaker wire that donates which ear they are for? I understand they communicate with each other so would it affect that too?

It is written on one side of the receiver itself as 2 characters. The first is a number that denotes the length of the wire, the second, a letter that denotes the power of the receiver itself.

Only if you have a receiver with a dome attached, which likely you won't with such a severe hearing loss.
