Hello. Do you know why the bush has an oval hole? What is it for? Thanks
@YEVSBUILDS3 жыл бұрын
It's oval because the diff has play when it moves during shifting. If the bushing hole was perfectly round, it would wear out faster. The holes is supposed to sit parallel to the underside of the body.

I'm getting a hard grinding noise on tight slow turns, mostly right turns...your discrimination was a clicking/ knocking (bumps or what have you) Have you ever heard people complain of grinding noise on slow tight turns?

Did you guys reuse the sleeve from the old bushing in the front bushing ?
@YEVSBUILDS2 жыл бұрын
Nope. I'm assuming you're talking about the outer one? The bushing won't fit with the outer ring still in the diff casing.

How many bushings do I need to replace ???
@YEVSBUILDS7 ай бұрын
Need to? I don't know your situation but if you're doing just the diff, I'd do all three

Was there more diff whining noise after the installation of the new bushing?
@YEVSBUILDS3 жыл бұрын
No it didn't seem to make a difference really besides no clunking noise when shifting.

Did this cause oil to leak out of your diff as well?
