Grateful for the crystal clear guidance as my car failed state inspection d/t the back-up light being out. A few bucks for the bulb and 15 minutes to pop it in; now to get it re-inspected. Hardest part was finding dropped clips,then reinserting them. I have smaller hands and fingertip length nails so didn't need to separate the inner/outer parts of the clip; was able to keep in open position with my nails for correct placement, then push closed to secure.

Yes. The clips are a pain! Two parts. you must thoroughly remove the inner part of the clip from the outer part. This means getting the screwdriver between the two parts when removing. Not very clear in the video. Also, when re-installing, set the outer (retainer part) in place, and THEN insert the piece with the shaft to spread the wings that retain the clip in place, otherwise you will not be able to engage the clip assembly.

thanks for the video, I'm installing Led's on a 2013 honda civic EX, but make sure to clean the glass with alcohol when replace halogen bulbs(next time)

Use the Sylvania Vevo bulbs and also no need to pull out all the plastic pins on the rug cover only 2 on each side closest to the light.
