I believe I have this type. But can't see the string part. My string is loose and has the knife-lock end for my window foot (looks triangular). I haven't taken all apart yet but still trying to figure out as much as possible before I do. Do you have pics of the entire working mechanism from behind the channel? Why is my string just loose with no tension, on both sides? Help thanks
