Replacing ExMark PTO Switch

In this video I show you how to replace an Exmark pto switch. I have been having some problems with the pto switch slipping down and disengaging my blades. It has finallygotten bad enough that I need to replace the pto switch. I stopped at my dealer and picked up a pto switch and replaced it for the first time. It’s not very difficult to do but if you don’t know how this video will help. When I removed the cover for the pto switch I discovered that there was tons of grass under the control panel. I don’t believe this was the cause of the pto switch to fail prematurely but it is something that I need to address and clean out on a regular basses. Thanks, Michael. I was having the same issue on a 10 year old Kubota Z725. Just wanted some guidance on how to get the switch out. It's crazy how much stiffer a new switch is compared to the old one.

It’s, it’s alot stiffer! It will loosen up over time.

Cutting today. Middle of a line, blades stop rotating. Engine still running but PTO disengaged. What do you think? Switch, fuse, safety?

Possible. I’d check your deck belt first.

Wire off the clutch frayed off blue connector.
