Thank you for making this easy to follow how to video. It will save us a lot of money by doing this ourselves. I still have to locate the fill plug for the transmission oil on my 2014 Sedona, and my biggest complain is the spark plug change (also thank you for making that video) which is super pain in the rear!!!!!!!!! Ahhh! This fuel assembly though, Kia made it great because it doesn't require to drop the tank.

cool vid. the job doesn't look too difficult. I have an 04 Sedona. new coils, motor mounts, wires, plugs. it has a little shake at idle. 165k miles. runs great, but with the little roughness I'm wondering if its time for a new fuel pump. also could you post a link of the pump you ordered ? thumbs up the vid.

Great video. One of my fuel lines just slid off, the other one won't budge. I can squeeze it with pliers and a little fuel leaks out but it absolutely will not slide back and forth at all not even 1 mm. Any ideas?

sounds like you may need to replace the fuel line or pump, maybe both.

ra ant l was trouble a starting problem. after replacing all that stuff. it ended up being a computer . l was able to hack it to it to start. l just buy pass the computer.

I gotta replace just the gasket on my fuel pump, same model van, but hard to find. I wonder if i can just use form-a-gasket sealer. Leaking gas all over the place.

Mark Sky the Off-Grid RV Guy not sure about foam o gasket, only way to find out is to try it. You may be able to clip the gasket slid it under.

I don't understand I have the same 2005 Kia Sedona lx but my fuel pump only have 2 connectors and doesn't unscrew, I order a new fuel pump and it looks exactly like the new one you got. Any suggestions?

Check out the KZbin video. Kia Sorrento fuel pump sending unit remove l it explains about a ring on the fuel pump. Also check the Haynes manual for your Van

Hey I know this is late but it's two different pumps. The one shown is the screw off one the other is a lock ring that requires a tool for removal.

If everything is disconnected it pulls right up. You may need to move it side ways a little then out.

I had no problems falling your video either but the only problem is mine does not have those screws Everything's cool until I get down to the fuel pump yes I can take my fingers in pull the lines loose yes I can unconnect it, but where is the screws that you speak of? Oh and mine only has two connectors.

Chaka Smith trouble shooting can be a little crazy at times. someone went to the junkyard and removed the computer from the same model year and replace it, then they had to get a locksmith to reprogram a key and prayed that it would start and it did. l would check for all the information that l can find before I go to war o project.

Jesus Lopez l had that problem also one time l used some needle nose players may need to tape two small screw's on the inside tip of the players then place it where your fingers go. apply pressure and pull line back.

I dont want to have to call a mechanic just cuz of that little connector..
