You don't have to take scanner assembly off, you don't need to remove fan, and you don't have to mess with the nic card. All you need is the left, right, and back covers off along with the redrive. If you are going to replace the solenoid you have to do all the steps like he did.

If you can’t see that you could’ve removed that fuser in about 5 minutes then you should turn in all your screwdrivers. SMH

I've been repairing printers since the 1990s and got a call to replace the fuser unit on one of these. Never worked on one of these. I'm glad I read the comments below before doing everything done in this video.

don't think so. in fact, i don't you don't have to. this is way out of scope for a simple fuser.
