Get yourself a set I Kleins you'll cut any size wire with them and nice clean cuts

I have a miller 140 I bought used from a body shop. He was using.023 but that’s not available in my area and from research is a sheet metal wire. What wire size do I need that will run in my machine. Thanks

You should also feed it into the back end of the gun, making sure the gun is fully seated and locked in.

Thank you it's been a very long time since I changed out my flux wire I bought the 10lb wire I'm not an everyday welder. I bought a new Vulcan welder so I wanted to brush up on installing wire. I know I need to know the tip size and what ever size it says on the wheel in side the machine there should be 2 sizes that fits. This welder has a Tig port and Arc, Mig so it does all 3 and came with two plug cable's for the (out let)

Is the liner suppose to touch the tip? I changed .035 wire and now it sparks flickers the lights and doesn't weld good- overheats in 1/4". I didn't change polarity, settings or anything and the welds were good before i change spools (same lot wire).

Ive read some people bend it in half, attach one end to a vice, use a drill n make a tight rope out of it and use it as a filler
