Hi, what do you do press if youre setting it up on a 5 channel or 16 chanel remote? And you have multiple blinds in one room?

you mentioned a PoE adaptor for the Tahoma Switch. Where can I can that? The only thing adaptor I found still needs USB for power

It's available from Somfy - or it can be purchased with Tahoma hubs from Umbra

@@umbrashading is that a true PoE according to 802.3af, not requiring USB power? The product with ref. no 9028054 still has to be connected to power, as far as i can tell

Hey Harry - Somfy owner in the US here - Somfy have not quite released this product in the US yet, but eager to pick up this device as my home is fully Homekit and the blinds are the last missing piece. All blinds are RTS - do you think ill have an issue ordering Tahoma Switch from the UK for it to work in the US? Cheers

Hi, from an RTS compatibility angle I don’t think this would be an issue however the Tahoma is not Homekit compatible for indoor shades unfortunately. - Charley

Can i use the tahoma switch and still use my 4 channel remote at the same time? In case my phone is away !!!

Hi there, yes you are able to use the TaHoma in conjunction with any other RTS/iO remotes or switches.

Awefull product, Somfy instructions and apps are hopeless, whoever developed this lot isnt in the real world, tried to set this up with Alexa and have just ended up messing the whole remote up after spending hours on it, free Tahoma switch now in the trash to preserve my sanity, never had any piece of tech so difficult to use as this, how a company can sell such poorly developed garbage as this is beyond me.

Hi, We've always found Somfy support to be very good in the UK. Maybe reach out to them on social media? If we knew what the problem was we'd try to help as much as we could.

Hi thanks for the response however if i have to start using support it speaks volumes of the product, i do like tech however i have a limit to how much time i'm prepared to invest versus benefit and this thing went the wrong way, all academic anyway as thrown in the bin
