This advice is a little late, but might be useful next time around.loosen all the sway bar brackets next time so the tension on the sway bar is released. With the tension released you will be able to move the bar up and down with no problems.

Thanks for this!!! RV owners have a constant battle finding the right size bushings, even though you type in motorhome for the part, you still get the wrong ones to replace. Was somewhat surprised you didn't take the opportunity to remove the bars and repaint them and the brackets....

Never confuse a bee with a hornet. Bees are really quite benign, and rarely sting. A hornet is a very different critter, much better eye sight, and more intelligence. They will actually go after you and sting you multiple times. My neighbor tied his horse to a peach tree, and it stirred up their groundnest, and killed the horse. Not a pretty sight. And if you allergic to insect stings, one bite CAN kill you.
