I get the same kind of sound when I turn my steering wheel to the right on my 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT2. It's not leaking any fluid, it just whines bad.

HELPPP! My GF jump started this same G6 backwards +to- ..says battery poles became red hot, I'm sure the Alternator is fine but l can't locate the FUSE or any burnt wires ! :( ps..its a 100% new battery

I just need to tighten the pulley. Do I have to take all that off?
