That’s a good way to damage the motor bearings. Move the motor back and use a puller. You need to perform an alignment regardless especially looking at the black powder below.

Couple thoughts. If it’s really frozen in place, just unbolt the motor, and slide it back. Simple enough. And wd 40. As famous as it is, there are plenty other brands of penetrating oil, that are much better.even homemade. I will take brake fluid, and thin it out with a little diesel fuel and put it in a solvent style sprayer. An oil can.

What state/city are you in? I'm a building engineer in Chicago. We have a size 11 sleeve insert that failed and the flange isn't sliding on the shaft. I'm gonna try your crescent wrench trick today.. Also, why you got comments off on other videos??

Next time use a puller. If the puller isn’t working, then heat the coupling.

Next time try sanding the shaft before coming backwards on it.
