You did a great job Jenna. I found the greatest difference between my self and a plumber is the plumber has a truck full of parts and tools parked in the drive way. Take care.

Fellow single woman rv’r but only seasonal. In the fall we all put moth balls under our campers and thankfully no mice over winter. You really don’t smell them inside either. Also, oil based Kilz would help with any mouse odor next time you run into an issue. I’m currently in the middle of a huge RV remodel. Bought myself a 1987 Park Model that was not cared for.

A couple yrs ago,a nasty storm rolled in with winds over 50 - 60 klm winds...the wind picked up the awesome and slammed down. One of the side supports went right through the trailer..was I pissed. Had to mount a metal plate on the outside and replace a section of panel inside. Had to mount another plate on the other awning arm, so this shyt don't happen again. The trailer beside me had a big tree behind him, wind snapped a big branch and fell on the corner of his trailer. Cause alot of damage..poor guy. His insurance covered the damage. The same summer,a pheasant flew right through the kitchen window, killed the pheasant (poor thing, beautiful bird) had to replace the window😢

Yay! Success! A great tutorial for those who face the challenge of a full bathtub "reno". Good job, Jenna. I hope by now you're enjoying your inside shower. Even the lightning and thunder gods were so happy they sent you a thunderstorm to serenade you in the shower. Who knows? Maybe one day you'll hear a knock at your door and Mr. Squirrel and Hilbert will be standing there on the stoop with their shower caps on, towels around their necks, and holding their scrub brushes saying, "Can we use your shower?" Hmmmm, try not to be too rude when you slam the door in their faces. Lol! Just Layla and me having a good chuckle. Cheers!

The plastic sheeting under your trailer is called "Darco". There is a special tape used to patch it which you can get at a mobile home supply store if you ever need that. You did OK with the tub install, and the sequence of gluing up the parts is how the factory did it. You might be able to get in there from behind the faucet and foam under the tub (non-expanding type) which will help with insulation and heating; the downside is that it's a pain to get out if you ever have to access the area again. It's nice to see someone go at the DIY approach instead of giving up before they started 😎👍

Two more things if that alien tape does not stick, use liquid nails and second before you shower, fill the tub up all the way and let it sit with the drain plugged for five or 10 minutes to make sure there ain’t no leaks where the drain meets the hole for the drain and then drain the water out and that will tell you if the drain is leaking or if your connections are leaking

I just subscribed to your channel because I will CERTAINLY learn several things from your projects ! Had a problem with my car and it did take quite a bit longer than I could have possibly imagined.... You are doing just great and you certainly have a lot of courage to tackle these projects. Two main take away's : you are swaving money, you are learning how to do these hands on projects and most importantly, when it's all said and done, we feel sooo good about having done it , completeed it, and checked it off the list !!! And if you want to make it, so you have a full size tub in there instead of removing the wheel well the only thing you would have to do is bring up the piece that you stand in, so it’s flush with the wheel well and set it on the wheel well But if your camper is not a permanen structure as in if you’re not gonna move it, then you can do that

I'd look for pics or vids of floor repair or rebuilding of your brand and model trailer or RV; toilets are often set and plumbed directly into the 'black water' tank, which means sealing the old hole or replacing the tank if you move the toilet. Things aren't as simple or straightforward with these compared to a regular home.

There's a lot of good choices out there, and while DeWalt is still good, they're not as good as they once were. I've got 45 years in the business and when I went from 18V to 20V I stayed with DeWalt mostly because there is a battery adapter and most of my 18V tools were still good so I didn't have to replace them. For DIY and homeowner use I recommend Ryobi, they've improved from earlier days and have an extensive line of tools.
