Very, very, very useful information. I change my fuel lines on a yearly basis and reuse the connectors. Changing those O rings will be part of the operation from now on. Thanks again Brandon !

thank you! I was going to pry it apart then use ABS glue to reseal it after replacing the o ring, the way you show how to do it saved me a lot of time!😀

A great tip, thanks. I have found that even new after market fittings like Attwood dont go in far enough to lock on the motor fitting. Have had to file the plastic mount to make it fit but it works.

Handy information to have. I have a well loved fuel line that needs to be refurbished. I already purchased new ends but might try this first just for giggles.

Man you are freaking amazing! I watch everything you put out an I’m amazed when you tear something down an fix it an know where everything goes back! I mean little things! You truly are gifted in what you do! I just got done watching your video of the throttle lever an where you washed the parts,I was just sitting here with my mouth open you knowing where everything went back! Keep these videos coming…PLEASE! I could watch all freaking day! How close are you to Virginia?

Seems pretty straight forward and a lot less expensive than a completely new connector.

I kept changing the tank connector O-ring for years. The assembly is press fitted brass but comes apart fairly easy. Every time it failed after winter storage. (no problem if you always have the tank with the hose connected) Finally i gave in and i bought a whole new connector to the tank. I don't have high hopes because nowadays O-rings seem to be lesser quality. At least the basic nitrile ones goes hard in a year.

Great video, but if you could focus on the Hillman package we could get the UPC code to make sure that we are getting the correct o ring. Do you still have one so I can get that UPC code?

Could you make a video on how to buy a used boat? Like what to look for, red flags, how to do title work, etc? It would be helpful for people who never really grew up around boats

Hello I saw a video on replacing a slower unit bushing. I've searched for the tool but no luck. Can you help. Thanks Rob

Ok pick and shovel work good but try doing that on a 2 line hose ! I know it’s the same but that’s all I could come up with ! Lol. The other option is buying a jig and not risking the new O-ring , I think mine cost me $20 at Tomahawk 3 years ago . How about showing how to convert 2 line into 1 line ? The Chinese ones have a simple fix and that is placing your thumb and pointer finger across from each other on the fitting and pressing hard together and with all your might throw the dang thing away !!!!!!!

Shoot I just tossed the old one out, it wasn`t leaking gas but was letting air in the gas line at least every time i wiggled it the motor would start to run better. At least I got the replacement on sale at Rural King for $4 that kind of says how long it may last though.

I think the connector fitting itself gets worn cuz mines were loose & got a new one that stop the leak but still not snug.

I KNOW you got that vice outta Jack's junk pile. It looks familiar. Keep the vids comin brother. The least you could have done is bolt that vice down to your work bench. Don't be lazy like me.
@BrandonsGarage2 жыл бұрын
He found me one, then traded it for another, this was the 3rd upgrade he found me. As this bench isnt made out of 2x4's I cant clamp it down like I used to. Often in my videos you'll see things given to me from Jack, sometimes they are easy to identify. Someday Ill do a tribute video of all the stuff he had given/traded me over the years.
