Here’s a few tech tips for replacing the oil filter housing on Chrysler 3.6 . Master Technician Jeff Buckley shows a few Tech tips when replacing this common problem. This housing can leak oil or coolant and have oil pressure issues. I give a few tips with the upper and lower intake removed. Note the tip with the Fel-Pro gaskets. Use a suction tool to remove the leaking oil and coolant before reassembling. This vehicle is a 2012 Jeep. Another tech tip is to tighten the oil filter housing cap properly on future oil changes.
