Replanting Amaryllis // December 24th, 2024

Amaryllis are so cool for a winter flower. I finally got 2 to rebloom! So there is hope finding the right process. I yes mine as a houseplant thru spring and summer before sticking them away in a dark spot for a couple months.

@@TheMistakenGarden I find it frustrating these aren’t easier to rebloom ….but now you got that shiny revamped greenhouse so good luck!

After it blooms, you can't just stick into a dark place if you want it to rebloom. It needs to get its energy back first. So it needs to be treated as a houseplant, and put outside for the summer, to get its energy back. After it has been outside in the summer, then you can stick it into a dark place for a couple of months.
