Clocktower with this cast seems like it might be something special as a Super Replay. Reiner and Tim are the anchors, but with Jeff M being the guide and giving just enough to get the guys through with his dead pan humor, and Kim's reactions to the scare tactics and her storyline insights, this could be a winner.

I'm watching this for the second time and I just noticed that when the camera is shifting angles the cursor is not floating with it, it remains pointing on the same object. Very clever.

Thanks so much for playing this. I did in fact not give this a chance back in the 90's. I've always wanted to go back and see if it was worth playing and you've answered that for me. I'll be looking this up real soon.

These always lead me to interesting information. Just read that Haunting Ground for PS2 was originally slated as Clock a Tower 4, before being spun off for being so different. Think I'll look into buying it now.

I had no idea the first one was a point-and-click game. Very, very weird. Shadow Tower looks too damn good for a game from the era. Those monster designs are incredible, and there was a sense of fluidity to the game that makes me want to play it today.

Hey guys, just thought you should know that From Software actually released one more King's Field game before moving on to Demon's Souls: King's Field IV (or King's Field: The Ancient City in America) came out in 2001 on the PS2, and it actually holds up really well today. I just got a hold of a copy a few months ago, and I was surprised by how much I liked it.

Wasn't the original Clock Tower on Super Famicom? I was under the impression that Clock Tower (1) in the U.S. on PlayStation (1) was actually Clock Tower 2. Or is this supposed to be a remake or reimagining of the original Clock Tower?

The first game is indeed an SNES game that never made it to the US. This is a direct sequel, and was "Clock Tower 2" in Japan.

I'd love to see either of these games. Clock Tower looks really interesting though it's short, but Shadow Tower intrigues me as a big fan of Dark Souls.

Shadow Tower has limited resources like a classic survival horror. It is very possible to screw a play through over so it might not be the best for super replay, although I prefer it to King's Field

Original was for the Super Famicom. It's my personal favorite horror game of all time, and it was incredibly ahead of its time. Way way ahead of its time. It's literally the Amnesia of nearly twenty years ago.
