I’ve never been to Shildon, so thank you for sharing your footage from your visit. My circumstances have changed dramatically in the past few years, as I’ve become a full time caregiver to my missus. The most time I get to do other things is 2-3 hours at the most. No more longer trips or excursions, which I miss, so I’m resigned to the current position. Hopefully you’re keeping well?

Hi Brian. I usually go to Shildon a couple of times a year. I'm not too far away on coast near Newcaste. I have been a bit restricred with a health issue this year (muscle disorder). Getting some good treatment but not travelling too far at the moment, just staying hear up north for now. Hope you are well. Best wishes, Jeff.

Good shots and a comprehensive record of the initial inhabitants of the New Hall, Jeff. The refurbished Gaunless looked great - far better and deserved than when it was left neglected at York in a side-patch and the “Information Desk” couldn’t tell me where to find it! Well done and great to share your company on the opening day.
