I truly appreciate the potential of this platform, but my experience has been incredibly frustrating. I keep encountering recurring issues where basic functionality-like a login button-fails to work. I report the problem, and while the agent acknowledges and claims to fix it, the issue persists. This cycle repeats endlessly, leaving me stuck for hours on something as simple as a single prompt. Every time I engage with the agent, I incur additional charges, which adds to the frustration. I’ve tried rolling back, logging out, and even starting over with a brand new project with the same intent but I end up in similar "doom loops" of different kinds. The time wasted is far more frustrating than the money spent. I want to love this platform and continue using it, but these persistent issues make it nearly impossible. Any advice on how to break out of this loop and actually make progress would be greatly appreciated!

I am stick from 3 days to add a simple multi file field in a form but so many errors and bugs. I paid at least 10 dollars and right now agent didn’t fix already. So frustrating. They ask to pay for their errors and to waste your time.

Matt of replit?, there is a serious problem with replit right now. Replit non-agent, basic gemini responder, keeps putting my code in Git repository every single time I ask it a question or solution. you can track down every time I ask a question, it does :automatic commit before assistant edits. There are no edits that I've asked it to commit. I dont even say apply. IT just does it automatically. It completely trashed my project. I lost a good 40 hours of coding time. Your product used to be good. Now I'm terrified of asking the basic assistant for a coding solution or suggestion. This started happening around Dec 20/21/22 of 2024. I pay the core price. All I have to show for it now is garbage. I can't resurrect my edits. I even tried creating a new branch before asking new questions. Can you revert or fix the problem?

Great tool, and I can see the future. As a SVP in S/W development services, I see potential of this type of technology and i really believe is the next revision of Low or No Code tooling. There are a few areas that are causing a lot of frustration when building LOB type apps. Auth and security are critically focus areas, and despite over 100 dollars of consumed credits, I have failed to get a basic app to have a proper login and user management feature, something that has been done a billion times. When I try to fix, with either agent or assistant, I get into an endless loop of trying to solve the issues... Issues with routes, handling errors, toast messages, registering users, and so forth. Perhaps I am using the software incorrectly?

@ZellerhausArt it was mainly the agent, but the assistant was getting it wrong, too. Did you manage to solve your issues?

@@johnnydubrovnic Found out you need to start a new chat session every now and then otherwise it's taking everything above it into account and that's what confuses it

hey ! i have my project and i have tried to use the AGENT to intergrate INTASEND payment system but it is impossible for the agent for it causes billion bugs and problems.. how should i go about it?

It seems that Replit Assistant is not recommended for logic, only for UI changes.

Prompts for Assistant: Focus on UI, not logic ( use Replit Agent Automated Developer for logic). Use single 160-char instructions. For multiple instructions, list them as numbered points.

I willl wait to even use replit for additional 5 month not risking my hard earned money for failure and waste of time. Let the team starve a bit more for money so they improve the issues first before asking for money first

I paid in full for this application to build a web application. I opened a ticket on Dec. 15 to address a problem I had with the system taking me down a ribbit hole and burning all my token. I got a fast initial reply but nothing since. Do not pay for this app it is not ready for production.
