Best damn cult classic in the yard. I tell everyone about this movie. Glad my dad introduced me.

Emilio Estevez may have vanished from the cinema,but this movie will live on.It's a genuine classic,1950's sci-fi meets Reagan-era America set to a punk soundtrack.

I don't know why I like this ending, but with this music and remembering watching it for the first time when I was living in Albuquerque felt nostalgic

It’s a call back to the same quote Bud/Harry Dean Stanton gave Otto near the beginning of his Repo career.

just cant make weird movies like this anymore. its a shame

You can, they just end up on netflix, lost under piles of shitty horror movies and half baked art school crap.
@buddhull2 жыл бұрын
@@SMFCNA Repo Man is a little different given the timeframe and circumstances which created it, but yes I generally agree with you. It’s a lot like my response to the people who watch this movie and say, “There’s no punk kids or music anymore!” Without realizing it just isn’t an obvious treasure to find within the current media or at obvious venues. When in fact, as we both likely seem to know to various extents, there are lots of great current punk, strange independent movies and enticingly creative weirdos to enjoy and yes a lot of them do end up buried in the bowels of Netflix, KZbin, Hulu or Tubi. But to me Repo Man is in its own tier of perfection thru oddity - a response to the original style of Reaganomics, the generic brand craze and the grittier parts of LA just aren’t at the same levels as they were in the mid-1980s.
