Felicidades, es una buena alternativa para no tener que cambiar toda la tira , por supuesto en caso de no conseguirla o en caso de que el cliente no cuente con suficiente presupuesto y acepte el trabajo. Hello there. Thanks so much for the video. Im working on a Sony kdl-32r300b TV. The backlight comes on at first to show the Sony logo and then it goes off. TV has sound and seems to function fine other than no backlight. Againt he backlight comes on momentarily but then goes right off.I did pull it all apart and some of the LED's are not functioning but most of them are. I see nothing in the line of connectors that would indicate to me that the TV would know if one or more of the LED's are not functioning. So im curious how one or more LED's not working would cause a totally black screen. I did replace the inverter board but the same problem still persists. Please give me your thoughts.

you welcome my friend , the inverter calculat the amperage ( m ampere ) that the leds use to light , open the panel then check led with multimeter ( diode mode ) , any help tell me

Ok ill do that soon. I cant do it right this moment. So in other words you are saying the inverter knows some LED's are out. So i assume then that if enough are out (which i think there lis like 4 or 5 out) that the inverter will shut down the backlight. Likely to protect the remaining LED's i would think. I used to work in test and repair in a electronics lab a long long time ago. But that was back when the 486 processor was the hottest thing around. LoL So to clarify what you mean you want me to check each individual strip in diode mode? What am i looking for?

the inverter calculates the consumption consume by the leds, yes you need to check each led with diode mode , if you want to check one strip you need high voltage ( 65 v ) . so i think the easy one is to check each led . you welcome my friend 😊

Así tal cual los trabajo yo. El último que repare era un LG que le puse todos los led correctamente y no quería encender la luz de la serie de led. Este venía con 3 tiras.asi que hice de nuevo la prueba y puse estaño en lugar de los led para cerrar la serie de led y funcionó perooo le ponía los led de misma potencia(por qué no son todos de la misma potencia) y nada seguía igual. Revise la fuente e Inverter y todo ok. Así que mande a la concha de la lora todo saque los led les puse puente de estaño y wala!el cliente no moto que le faltaban 4 led. Un dato para sumar! Esa pantalla que se ve en el vídeo es un panel LCD del tipo genérico pero como pueden ver tiene dos Flex. Al importador se pide como dual Flex ,hay pantallas de 1 solo Flex que son las de baja calidad .se ve la imagen tipo esfumado ! Mayormente vienen enarcas chotas como AOC y las dual Flex en los TV nobles. Otra poronga pero un toque mejor en calidad y armado. Si alguna necesitan conseguir una pantalla dual Flex o un solo Flex pueden comprar la placa de video que sirve de puente a la placa main. seria como un adaptador! Otro dato es esos Flex que ven en los costados tengan mucho cuidado por qué se suelen enganchar y tienen cristales .así que cuidado al manipular eso! Las pantallas suelen ser muy frágiles! Nunca apoyar en metal o piso duro. En lo posible en madera o un paño No olvidar revisar la hoja del fabricante del TV así saben exactamente de qué potencia son los led a cambiar.

I have Dell 5348 AIO whose inverter board is malfunctioning. I have a question about the 'Backlight connector PIN configuration', it has 4 pins, 2 middle pins for LED power and 2 corner pins for 'Channel 1 current feedback & Channel 2 current feedback'. The channel pins have 5V power when the Backlight LEDs are on and non when there're off. These are not GND pins then where are the GND pins and what are the 'Channel 1 current feedback & Channel 2 current feedback'. Kindly advise.

the 2 pins for led : one is the positive power and the second is the GND the current feedback is the protection of highly current in led strip. ( when the leds is failure so the current is unbalanced then the inverter turns off automatically)

I have also checked myself the voltage on both LED power, while on standby it's 12V and 50V when LEDs are on. the know the faulty parts you need a led tester to test the strip leds without opening the panel etc .. like you said the voltage in pin out led is 50volts when you turn on so the inverter is ok 👌. - you are sure that's the dell turn on and you can see the windows working ( use your mobile flash to see image in screen) ?

my rca 60 inch led tv goes out sometimes with in a second sometimes after 5 minuts,i had remove screen and checked with tv on and saw all leds working(lighting) when back light goes black!so leds are not the issue,also replaced power supply board and tcon and main board .still have same issue!is there a way firmware could be the cause?

- when the tv comes black screen the sound is ok ? - sometimes the leds becomes low and stop working. if just one led become weak then all leds stop working because they are mounted in series.

hola una consulta, smartv samsung 46 cuando enciende los led encienden bien por un segundo despues baja un 80% la intensidad, la ficha de alimentacion de los led es de 4 canalaes de52v solamente el canal tiene 52v los tres restantes 24v, pero si desconecto la ficha los 4 canales miden 52v, desarmo la pantalla para revisar los led ? o puede ser la fuente, gracias.

Wow, you made that look so easy. Just one thought comes to mind though. Someone else doing the same/similar repair apparently discovered by placing a strip repair like that on top of the original buss/strip caused the LED to be closer to the screen panel and thus created some sort of light distortion when viewing the screen. I'd like to hear your thoughts/opinions on that. Please and thanks.

My 50" Samsung Smartv has the LED burned out on the top right side It's been like that for about 2 years How long will my TV last like this ? I bought it about 2009. Thanks for the Advice, I know it's alot of Work replacing but what if I just get the one replaced and another goes out?
