Excellent tutorial. I have a HP LCD 42" Model No CPTOH-0706.The tv has power and stand by light but no back light or sound. My tv has 2 boards resembling yours one labeled slave the other master, using your Ohms reading method I get 1045+/-. Before discovering your Channel I have changed the power supply and tcon boards. This has made no changes. I enjoy doing this as a hobby and wanted to do it as a profession until I picked up a camera. Any advise you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

To be honest this TV is only recovered to working condition, but not fully fixed... Three capacitors at power PCB are swollen and needs to be replaced... After this I'll recognize the TV as repaired, but tutorial is really useful.

Thanks for video! I have Samsung LN55C650 and its converter is from two separate pieces: 4H+V2358.601/A1 and 4H+V2358.611/A1 (Upper and Lower, or Master and Slave). I am wondering if I could proceed in tha same manner to check the Inverter, or not, Chips are in some way different that the ones we can see here. If yes - is the same 0.9 kOmm ?? Thanks !

Wenn das Tv mit Inverter Platinen sind und am Netzteil kommt die Spannung exakt raus.Kann es nach einem Hörtest ein leises fiepsen oder eine zu dunkles Bild sein das meißt durch meine Erfahrung ebenfalls den defekt am Inverter ausgemacht hätte,aber messen und den defekt gefunden prima. Auch das nun eine Unterlage verwendet wird nicht wie in dem Video vor einem Jahr.

Hello @repoapps, I would like to know if you can help me, I have a Samsung LCD TV Series 3 Model LN32A330J1. It has 12 Transformers and 12 Mosfet 4614, similar to 40014A01. The fuse of the inverter card was damaged, and also the third moset from the bottom up. There is a possibility that I can eliminate that simply mosfet and also that ccfl tube. I think that only 1 ccfl tube of the 12 will not influence the lighting so much. Thanks in advance with the help you can give me

does not working, because there's a security in ic controller , that ic control all transformers ampere so when when you eliminate one of them the backlight work 1 second then turns off . so the solution is to repair it , change the mosfet and also verify the transformer .

yes in almost time the problems from transformer , but also in your case must check the ic inverter ( ic , transistors ) .

i have removed the same thingy but at 1 conection al the solder came of the board and now there is noting there to solder on must all pins be soldered to the board or not all ones

i anderstand what's happening , yes must be all pins connected , you can resolve the problem with jumper wire .. and trace the piste detached ..

your model is led tv , you have led strip in backlight, so open tv then check leds strip surely some of them is failure

in almost led tv we find issue in led strip .. you can check voltage in ps pin output to leds must be 146v to 195v ..

if you are sure that the inverter is ok so check the lamp , open the panel and see if some lamp is defective
