In this video, analysts former Chiefs Tight End Jason Dunn, cohosts Marcus Dash, & Teja Dash discuss the potential departure of Chiefs DC Steve Spagnuolo.
Spags will interview with the Jaguars, Raiders and Jets for their head coach positions, Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports reports. All three interviews are virtual, with the Chiefs preparing for a playoff game next weekend.
Spagnuolo said last week he wants another opportunity to be a head coach.
“Well, I’ll deal with that later,” Spagnuolo said, via John Dixon of arrowheadpride.com. “I mean, yeah, the answer is yes. . . . I hadn’t even thought about that road until you just mentioned it. So I’ll let all that take care of itself.” Spagnuolo, 65, was head coach of the Rams from 2009-11, going 10-38. He also was the Giants’ interim head coach in 2017, compiling a 1-3 record.

It's Brady's only chance at keeping mahomes from getting 8. Why do you think he chose the Raiders? Why do you think he's got his hands in the hiring and firing? Who's the only DC to defeat Brady? Who's the DC who's been working alongside/against mahomes the last few years and knows him best? Brady never retired, he just transitioned. If Spags does go to the raiders, then Clark and Andy better get the NFL to investigate and also sanction him to keep brady as far away from our facility as possible. Remember this is the same brady who was on board with multiple cheating scandals... he will play dirty.

I’m not a fan of the Raider leadership, Tom Brady may help turn it around but right now I would say NO THANK YOU. As for the Jets, if what they say are true about the owner and his boys “intruding” in the locker room and decisions I would definitely say HECK NO!!! Keep Spags here. I’m old school and miss loyalty, but I understand the desire to be a head coach so I won’t be mad, just sad.

I don’t think Spags wants the HC job with the Raiders. I’m not sure that Spags could work with Aaron Rodgers he’s a little bit of a control freak. I think he should stay in KC, keep chasing SB rings . I would never deprive him of another HC opportunity just not sure the Raiders and the Jets are his best opportunity.. a good fit.
