EXACTLY. Coaches salary don't count against the cap. Saleh absolutely can be paid HC money (which he deserves) and it not hurt us in the pockets

Can’t do nothing if he gets offered HC job. Ulbrich wouldn’t be a bad hire. Was a very good linebacker when he played.

agree. he is going to help keep our offense on the field 3x more.
@E_alvarad016 сағат бұрын
@seansurfn2 Remember, the 49ers had the #1 offense last year with the same players minus Aiyuk and CMC. You think our offense or Kyle is bad?

@@E_alvarad0cumulative of all aspects. When the defense drops off, Purdy slowly maturing in his second full season, and a depleted O Line- too many areas across all phases have dropped leading to a exponential collapse across the performance of the three team. Special teams just punctuated the rest of the drop off

As a Jets fan and bandwagoner for SF- that would be awesome and I think it's the best possible move for him. His defenses in NJ were fantastic prior to this year. I think he should get another shake at HC eventually; but I think he needs to take a break from pursuing that. As much as I liked him here, there were very simple problems that he failed to lead us through (to be clear, also lots of others he couldn't do anything about if he wanted to) He needs to work on leadership and dealing with adversity.
@E_alvarad023 сағат бұрын
I think he gets another HC job just not this year. Jets made a HUGE mistake letting Saleh go. I think the Jets had sla bigger problem outside of the HC. Saleh is a likable guy. I hear what you're saying but I don't think Saleh was the problem and teams are lining up to have this guy on their staff for a reason
@tylerd129723 сағат бұрын
@E_alvarad0 i don't think he was either- that being said I don't think it was realistic to keep him past this year if things continued in the direction they were trending. As a leader he was neurotic and clearly over thought many things. I think that's a lot easier to fix than someone like Hackett who doesn't know their x's and O's for shite.

@@tylerd1297 some guys are a lot better as a coordinator than they are as a HC. You probably watch the Jets more than me but I thought Saleh did ok and got the short end of the stick Guys like Brian Flores or Greg Roman are great as coordinators but maybe not as a HC. Coaches salary don't count toward the salary cap but these dudes absolutely deserve their pay. As a 49ers fan I'll be a fan of wherever out coaches go like the Jets, Dolphins, and Texas. Hopefully the Jets can figure something out bro. It's been too long since you all been good

49ers interviewing other candidates gives them some leverage w/ contract. As such, Saleh interviewing for other jobs as well gives him bargaining power w/ $.
@adanlozano3769Күн бұрын
Tough decision for Saleh. HC is always tempting. Raiders is a mediocre mentality team, that is why the few good players they get, want to leave the team within the next couple of seasons. Jacksonville may be a better option if they give Saleh enough hiring power. On the other hand in SF, he's got a better chance to win a SB and position himself higher for future HC in a better team than those offered today. I hope he comes with us as a DC.

Someone will have to spoon feed me here cuz I could be wrong or biased. Saleh has taken interviews with the raiders and jaguars for HC. Those two brands are terrible and i cant see him being able to right those ships, thus hurting his own brand and perception. Wouldn't it be better for Saleh to take the 9ers DC offer where he can have more of an immediate impact for the long-term of his career?

This the issue teams will never be great when coaches are selfish if I hire you to help us win a superbowl let’s do it. But failed organizations (losing teams) throw money at OC DC in hopes that’s all they need but it starts with the front office. I feel OC and DC need to be under contract with the head coach. It’s like a leaking bucket you always trying to fill up. I know if we didn’t lose him or other coaches I know we’d have at least 1 Super Bowl to show for it and better success
