When presidents started they were trusted to be honourable...it was never considered that a criminal would get elected...that is what the electoral college was supposed to stop. 1) the electoral college has be hijacked by the states and is no longer doing its job 2) the criminal republicans play the states game to force non-popular presidents ( remember trump lost in 2016 and 2020 the popular vote) 3) the change the requirements would take a constitutional amendment, which is VERY unlikely...we are still waiting for the ERA to get passed over 50 years later 4) SCOTUS members are life members to stop them from being affected by political concerns, that is the purpose of the life tenure...they are not beholden to anyone they do not want to be. 5) Several are obviously corrupt and need removal, but congress is divided because the dems and some republicans want to clean it up, but MOST of the republicans want to keep the conservative court they have been trying to pack for 50+ years. 6) no one else is above them, and the president has no real power there...perhaps the DOJ could indict IF there is solid evidence, BUT this DOJ seems to be scared of seeming political in any way shape or form. So YOU are not wrong, but there are good reasons why...and they are all political reasons. Without a non political player in the field we are screwed...although what country are YOU from... This is why we have freedom of the press. Try reporting on this in Russia, Hungary, etc. Red or Blue, America ROCKS!

Supreme Court justices need to be SEEN to be above politics, unfortunately their actions mean that they're currently not, and this really does urgently need to be addressed, ideally by the Supreme Court itself.

Saying Thomas "might have" violated the law is laughable at best. Add Ginni too.
