We don't know the circumstances of the 100 plus instances where journalists were killed in Gaza. We don't know the circumstances of the doctor who was raped to death. The only sources we have are Haaretz, the New York Times, Amnesty International, several documentary films, Human Rights Watch, the testimony of multiple doctors, the ICC, the ICJ, and fifty other sources saying the same thing, and when we weigh that against Hasbara and the IDF reports, it's a difficult judgement.

It is very easy to speak to the motive. The combination of 1) The number of journalists murdered, 2) Actual examples of directly targeted journalists that are proven to be so, 3) The banning of any media from entering Gaza indicating a desire to totally control information coming out of there, 4) the shutting down of Al-Jazeera on that basis... These circumstances are only consistent with a policy of murdering journalists and so as to totally control information about their activities as well as any commentary as to them.
