Three guys will walk up to a pride (ie. helluva lot more than one lion) with a fresh kill and chase the lions off (including males) and then cut a 1/4 or a 1/2 of the kill off for themselves and then back away slowly before the lions realize they have been duped. Balls of steel on those guys - and quicker than going to Walmart.

It was very illegal to kill lions but a hunter from the village would go out on a walk about (wink wink) with just a spear and the lion problem would just magically stop. A enormous Bison just walks out into the road and lays across it, looking at us. Just like, what do you want? It laid there for 20 minutes or so, got up and left. He was huge!
